The drinks, desserts & presentation were outstanding. There was nobody seating outside so we are talking to approximately half of its capacity. We could blame Father’s Day, but the restaurant wasn’t as packed. They were not terribly separate from each other, but I wouldn’t know until the brought them. I felt I had to start eating or my food was going to get cold. They brought the dishes all separately instead of all together at once. The only thing that stops me from rating it at 5 is that 1. Then I also tasted the french fries which are really famous there and felt they were extremely salty and overcooked. The mashed potato was pretty average and tasted from a box and not real potatoes although I want to think they were just real potatoes not well executed instead of dehydrated potatoes. I was a little disappointed with the mashed potatoes and the bread (I’m probably calling it wrong by saying bread) from my husband board. That’s actually what I ordered and it was good, not outstanding, but good. Usually steakhouses offer seafood option in Ember & Oak they only offer FL Red Snapper from the sea. They don’t have a big menu selection, but their meat was very well made. I would probably not treat a chain restaurant with this level of criticism, but I feel that it is acceptable for a higher end restaurant in such a huge demand in the area. I want to set the tone before I continue. This is the 3rd time I tried to eat here, so my expectations were pretty high.
